The Carne Asada Fiesta is an annual fund raising event sponsored by the San Carlos Rotary and the parents and teachers that is held at the primary school for building maintenance and improvements to the primary school and kindergarten. Also in the meantime, it is held a performance of folkloric and traditional dances of Mexico by dancers from Guaymas cultural centers.

The San Carlos Rotary, along the physical and financial support of the Rotary Clubs in Canada, the United States, and Mexico have provided buildings, roof construction, computers, and other material in support to the Ranchitos Elementary School located in San Carlos.
